A Stray Poem
A Stray Poem was on my front porch one clear Spring morning as I stepped outside to glimpse the sunrise It was a small timid text half-hidden under a wooden stool beside some potted ferns which flinched away as I took a step closer Someone must have abandoned the poor thing-- a passerby (perhaps) to the countryside thoughtless and cruel enough to throw what they refused to care for away on the fierce winds I went back inside and returned accompanied by a poetry anthology from which I read aloud one piece after another with great care until . . . little by little . . . the Stray Poem emerged

The Sweet Passage of Carols
Around this wintry season they awaken again those enchanted melodies passed down … from olden times to push back the shadows imbue hearts with warmth and offer wishes for brighter times on the way Some of them once echoed among people as they danced and laughed in merriment and enjoyed great seasonal feasts while others were more like lullabies whispered into the ears of children at night to hasten their journey into dreams while yet others were closer to offerings young and older singers would bring from door-to-door in their towns

The Wonder of Multiple Interpretations
Isn’t it a wondrous notion . . . the way almost anything can mean many things? Take the sunset for example... A great ball of gas set alight dips below the horizon and gives way to colder illuminations can also signify an end like the final page turned in a book or a grain of sand tugged into the ocean by a wave or the whisper of a loved one to another before a kiss silences their words An artist might see it as inspiration and take note of the arrangement of colors produced to create a creative piece— one moment caught in time that references other such moments A sunset… when it comes time to

Age is not an Excuse
Why does age allow so many mistakes for when one is old and they tear down others by mindsets of ancient times or by harmful words besides they get excused for they will never change their long established ways. As is often restated by ones meant to help hence telling us to grin and play along still we can move along. But what about those who cannot for they're too young or is still on the verge of dependency and independency are we doomed to watch as we forget who we are. Being carefully molded to fit their image a puppet on strings playing their tune memorizing the notes still we know nothing more. Too afraid to deviate for even a moment knowing they could take away everything from us without a care. I've had enough its time for a change for why should I respect those who hurt and maim. It's time we realize that no one should get just a pat on the wrist for hurting someone no matter if it's physical or not.

Beauty of Snow
Snow oh what a beautiful show painting the world in a winter wonderland for all to behold. Creating fun for everyone for adults and the little ones. For as snowballs whirl overhead and marshmallows swirl in a cup of hot coco there's a sense of tranquility in every home. That makes the cold feel less bitter and people's hearts a little warmer. Making winter a little more bearable Even in the dark.

Through the Colored Doors
Go down the hallway of the colored doors open each one with care see what may be there. Open the blue one when injuries you bear take the bandages and heal yourself there. Open the green one when adventure you crave go through the forest remember to be brave. Open the purple one when you want to amaze one and all by tricks said to be fake. Open the black one when your bones are weary let the sound of crickets lure you into sleep. Open the orange one when hunger pangs fruits and berries populate the place. Open the silver one when weapons your desire swords and guns made through fire. Open the pink one when beauty you crave see the flowers at their finest hour. Open the brown one when meat is running low slay the four legged souls running in the grove. Open the gold one when riches are in need be careful not be greedy or you will feel unworthy. Open the white one when you feel the need for blissful solitude to meditate in peace. Open any door you please but don't go
